In my honest and personal opinion I think that far are the days where all it matters in a festival was the good music, every year that the festival season is on, it become more about showing your months of hard training and walk it all around the place, it is a concern to me that headliner Djs as martin solveig, laid back Luke and even the biggest name on the EDM Tiesto are still playing such a save and not sorprising or inspiring sets, we are now in a world where music producers are all over the place and in many cases these new producers are doing a much better creative and innovating work but the Djs who are suppose to lead that kinda creativity are using their 1:30 min in stage to play the same tracks all over and over again.

Another big surprise for me was that a sold out event as this just had one stage packed during the day and stages as the Carl cox one were half capacity during the whole day, was this planned that way?

Music wise wasn’t the best stereosonic so far but Djs as calving Harris who played his well known tracks but didnt stick to the Comercial wave. He surprised the public with beats that uplift the event after an unarticulated laidback luck set, Djs as Carl cox and Marcus Schulz did a great work on stage keeping their rooms dancing as not surprisingly did avicii. A big surprise for many was the headliner of this years event Tiesto, who 2 years ago did one of his best sets in australia now started with a slow progressive set that push thousands of people away from the main stage, until he brought back his classic Silence and the crowd connected again with the super dj, what kept him and people dancing for the last 40 mis of his set

In my opinion this years stereosonic wasn’t one that will be In people’s minds for long, as some of the latest editions of the festival and it will be good to push for the next ones more music that bring the good electronic music back because the fashion that is around dance music these days will some day mutate, but what will remain is the love for music, this is what all ages people who really appreciate electronic music will respect on a international event of this magnitude.
